Yesler Bridge Mural Project

In 2021, Pioneer Square community members and the Alliance for Pioneer Square worked together to bring a new, permanent mural to the west wall of the Yesler Bridge on Fourth Avenue. Titled “Duwamish,” the mural was designed by artist Stephan Smith (Quinault/Makah).  Smith is an established aerosol artist and led the on-site painting effort with support from local volunteers.
